Caelan Browne, Year 12 Shearer and William Macknay, Year 9 Ferguson each received a Students Award, representing Scotch College as two of the best Indonesian students of 2022. Scotch College also received an award and was represented by Pak Wilfred Liauw at the event as a Western Australian school that promotes the learning of Indonesian language and culture. The award ceremony was held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in April and was covered by CNN Indonesia in a news piece that was broadcast throughout Indonesia.
Oscar Male, Year 10 Shearer has been selected for the WA Schools 16 Years & Under Schoolboys’ Hockey Team.
William (Bill) Eastman, Year 11 Anderson is a member of the Eastern Phantoms Senior League which represented Western Australia at the National Senior League Baseball Championships earlier this month.
Jayden Clarke Year 10 Keys has been selected for the WA Schools Under 15 AFL Team that will travel to Ballarat in July.
Shuchang (Louis) Liu, Year 10 Ferguson completed his AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) examination, achieving a Pass with Credit in Piano for Leisure Comprehensive Grade 2.
