SEQTA Learn/Engage
SEQTA is our Learning Management System that provides students, through SEQTA learn, and parents, through SEQTA engage, access to vital information around curriculum, assessment and reporting.
Curriculum
Through SEQTA, teachers are able to provide students with course information, programmes and resources. This could be anything from page numbers or links to text books, YouTube videos embedded, ClickView video’s embedded, URL resource links, or the content being directly added to the page. The school also uses Office365, for which every student has a subscription, giving them online storage along with interactive features of the applications (like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote). Often, the link to class OneNote notebooks are also provided through SEQTA.
Assessment and Reporting
Assessment information, results and feedback are all provided through SEQTA. The Senior School reports on student academic progress with Continuous Reporting. This type of reporting refers to providing timely, quality feedback comments for all summative assessments through SEQTA Engage. Comments focus on strengths and areas that need improvement in relation to the related criteria for that assessment. This is complemented by Semester 1 and 2 reports, and student, parent, and teacher interviews. Semester reports can be downloaded from SEQTA Engage.
