Headmaster’s Commendations
A Headmaster’s Commendation is awarded by the Headmaster to a student who has been nominated by a member of staff for doing something beyond what is expected. It is not necessarily for academic excellence but rather for someone who is performing above expectation; showing dedication and commitment to a subject, sport, co-curricular activity or project; showing support, kindness and compassion for others. It is a way of recognising students for who they are and reinforcing positive behaviour. It provides an opportunity for the recipient to meet with the Headmaster and receive in person his congratulations.
