Student Achievements – 24 June 2022
Aaron Hugo, (Year 9 Ross) is a member of the Eastern Phantoms Baseball Club team that won the Australian Junior League Baseball Championships in Adelaide at the beginning of June. They will now represent Australia in the Under 15 Little League World Series in Michigan in August.
Luke Megson (Year 10 Cameron), Mack Wrigley (Year 10 Anderson), William (Billy) Mahaffy (Year 10 St Andrews) and Hudson Weir (Year 9 Ross) competed in the Junior Rugby Union Championships in NSW last week.
Nicolas (Nic) Langsford (Year 11 Anderson) and Hayden Henschel (Year 11 Stuart) have been selected for the WACA Under 17 Cricket Development Squad for the coming season. Hayden has also been invited to attend the Karnataka Institute of Cricket in Bangalore later in the year.
Ethan Buzza (Year 10 Anderson) will attend the Federation International Society of Magicians conference in Canada later in the year.
George Stoney (Year 10 Stuart) has been selected for the SSWA Under 15 AFL team.
Hugh Boxshall (Year 10 Anderson) and Jaxon Douglas (Year 11 Keys) have been selected in the State Under 16 AFL side and have travelled to Adelaide to play South Australia.
Jurgens (Jurie) Terblanche (Year 12 Anderson) will compete in the School Sport Australia National Tennis Championships towards the end of August.
