Boys’ Achievements – 30 July 2021
Saami Welsh (Year 12 Cameron) has been selected for the WA Under 19 Years Cricket Squad competing at the Nationals in Adelaide in December.
Jett Sibosado (Year 10 Ferguson) is one of seven players chosen by the Fremantle Dockers to travel to the National AFL Kickstart Camp.
Oscar Clements (Year 12 Alexander) has been selected for the WA State Cross Country Team. Despite the Championships being cancelled this year, School Sports Australia is endeavouring to provide a team experience within the state borders.
Congratulations to Pearson Chambel (Year 12 St Andrews) for becoming a prize winner in the nation-wide Future Leaders’ Writing competition with his short story entitled “Flight”. Pearson’s writing was deemed as outstanding amongst thousands of entries and will be published in a short story anthology. He is presented with a certificate today, and a sizeable cheque for his writing. You can read his prize-winning story “Flight” in The Spring edition of The Raven.
