The Arts
Drama
Congratulations to Clement Hardie (Year 10) for his role in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory production. An amazing production which involved students from Years 7, through to Year 12. Involvement in a drama production requires a commitment of a huge amount of time to the production, a lot of Sunday and evening rehearsals. Congratulations on your involvement in bringing such a story to life on the stage, combining music, singing and acting.
House Arts Day
Was held on Thursday 30th June, the second last day of term. Boys were able to engage with various art forms in a collaborative, supportive and celebrative way. In the morning the houses rotated through four activities, House Music, House Drama, House Exhibition and workshops that included Stage Combat, Urban Art Walls, Circus Challenge, African Drumming, Karaoke, and Silent Disco. Lunch was Battle of the Bands and after lunch was the famous or infamous House Singing Competition. Ask your son if there was anything in particular he enjoyed, that might have sparked an interest that was not there!

Microsoft Teams Meetings
I promise I will try and schedule a Year 11 MS Teams parent meeting before the Mid-Term break, and an all of Blair Clan MS Teams parent meeting, before Year 11/12 Exams start. I will try and schedule these for an evening.
I hope you get to enjoy some solid family time with your sons. It is a great opportunity to have a break, recharge, reset and hit Winter Term in a great mental and physical state.
Thanks
Andy
