Week 9, Winter Term 2021
A message from our Captain of Boarding
Hi Boarding Community
I’m Kalib Dempster Park and I’ll be the Captain of Boarding for 2022.
Just to tell you a bit about myself, I live on a farm near Northam which is two hours east of Perth, with my Parents Amy and Grant and my siblings Benji and Zoe. I’ve loved growing up on the farm and it’s really shaped me into the person I am today.
As Captain of Boarding, I hope to see myself as a positive role model to the younger boys and I want to be a dedicated and confident leader for the boarding community. I know that all the current year 11s are super excited to have the opportunity to be the leaders of boarding in 2022, and I’m very lucky to have a year group that’s very supportive.
My main aim as a leader in 2022 is to tighten the already existing bond between all year groups. To me the role is more than just a badge or a special title but a chance to make a positive influence on my fellow students and our boarding community, as well as the wider school community. I’m super excited to take up the role of Captain of Boarding and I’m very grateful for the opportunity.

We will have afternoon tea available in the Middle School Residence after the conclusion of the Highland Games.
We do need numbers for catering, so if you could register on the link below, that would be very helpful.

Visual Arts and Design
Senior School Art and Design students exhibited their creations in the Stairwell Gallery in the Senior School. The exhibition included painting, photography, sculpture, graphic design, drawing and furniture making.
Below are photos of our Boarding students’ artwork, and thanks to their wonderfully talented teacher Mr Sean Mecham, they have done us proud.
