Blair Clan – Week 5, Winter Term 2021
Winter Term Mid-Term Update
Well those four weeks have flown. With the end of winter sport, our attention now will quickly turn to athletics. It will be a busy end to Winter Term, with two moray camps still to come for Year 9’s, year 10’s exams, year 10 expeditions, year 11 WACE & IB examinations, & Year 12 WACE & IB Mock Examinations.
Here’s what your sons have been up to in boarding:
Year 9
- Boys enjoyed Recreation activities:
- St Brigid’s Social @ St. Brigid’s on Saturday 31st July
- Freo defeating the reigning Premiers (Richmond) @ Perth Stadium on Sunday 1st August
- Ice Skating on Saturday 7th August
- Boys also completed a make-up walk for the Bibbulmun Track on Sunday 15th August, the leg between Mt Dale and Brookton Highway.
- The boys (except for Toby who was hanging with his dad) attended my house for a BBQ dinner on Friday 6thAugust. The purpose of which was for them to get to know my family (Jodie my wife, Holly 18yo @ UWA, Aubrey 11yo @ Scotch & Fergus 8yo @ Swanny PS) and for my family and I to get to know them a bit better. Unfortunately, Holly was not able to attend, but most of them know Holly because she does tutoring in the Middle School house and sometimes in Keys house. They were very well behaved, spoke well, and hopefully were all well fed. I remembered to take a photo.
