Margaret River – Horse Riding
This expedition will run in September and is based at Jesters Flat in the Margaret River region. Students will be responsible for the care of their horse which they will feed, muck and ride each day along a variety of adventure trails in the area. Students have the opportunity to work in a small community group, share responsibility for meals and participate in debriefing sessions to develop reflective practice.

4 | Animal husbandry/vet care lesson. Cane Brake Pool ride. Astronomy session in the evening. |

Throughout this incredible experience, students will be provided food, camping equipment and transport.

Prerequisites
- Students with a known medical condition for example (diabetes, anaphylaxis, asthma) or a recent injury will require a doctors medical clearance and action plan.
- Fitness capacity to ride for 3 hours each day is essential.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- A willingness to care for and work with horses.
- A willingness to engage with nature.
- A willingness to work within and contribute to a group community.
