Upcycling
Senior School students held a free dress day that centred around the theme of Upcycling, which means making old clothing look good. With this free dress day, we wanted to try something different, so instead of donating a gold coin, students had to bring in an item of old clothing which would be donated to the salvation army.
In preparation for the free dress day, a group of boys and Reverend Gary went to the local Op Shops to get clothes for the day. This made the boys really think about the sort of clothes they were wearing and how to make old clothing fashionable which, I’ll admit, definitely isn’t a talent of ours!
