The procedure below provides clarity around the current COVID-19 protocols and the College’s expectations. It is shared in the interests of protecting all members of our College community, especially those who are most vulnerable.

If a staff member or student tests positive for COVID-19, the College requires that you (or a parent on behalf of a student):

  • inform the College that you (or your son) has tested positive for COVID-19 so that those you have had contact with are aware and alert to their own possible symptoms. Remember that you are most infectious 2 days before symptoms start.
  • stay (or keep your son) at home until symptoms have resolved to protect the community. It could take up to 10 days or more for symptoms to resolve. A minimum of 5 days away from school is recommended.
    • If you are asymptomatic, you may return to school 5 days after you first tested positive.
    • You must be asymptomatic before returning to school.

Should you require further information it is available here.

Once again it is important that we consider the wider community when making decisions pertaining to COVID and the unintended consequences of  becoming too complacent.
